Yesterday, my husband graduated from his technical school (as valedictorian!) and today SCOTUS ruled that #LoveWins.

Now is definitely the time for celebrations, but once the cake is all gone and the balloons have lost their air, there is still a lingering question: where do we go from here?

Each accomplishment marks the end of one journey as well as the beginning of the next. For my husband, this means deciding if he wants to pursue further education in his field, start the process of becoming an instructor, or consider the various other paths he can take from this point.

For the US as a whole, it means determining the next change that needs to happen, finding that common goal that will improve life for all, and fighting to see it realized.

As such, our prompt today will deal with what is to come!

She carefully folds the piece of paper into even thirds before handing it to you. It’s officially over. Everything you’ve been working toward is now completed and confirmed in the ink that fills that page.

She sits back in her studded leather chair and smiles. “Now what?” she asks.
